The Softness..

I saw something today that stopped me in my tracks. A couple sitting across from me, both leaning in just a little closer than needed, sharing one pair of AirPods. She was sipping her cappuccino while he gently massaged her hands like it was the most natural thing in the world. No phones out, no rushing, no distractions. Just them, enjoying a song, a drink, and each other’s presence.

It wasn’t loud love. It was soft, intentional, and unspoken, the kind that feels almost rare these days. It reminded me that intimacy isn’t always about grand gestures. Sometimes it’s in the quiet moments, like splitting a song through one earbud or the reassurance of someone’s hands wrapped around yours.

It made me think about how important it is to slow down and truly be with the people we love. Because at the end of the day, these are the little moments that actually stay with us.
